Huddersfield Town striker Emyr Huws has praised Nottingham Forest for putting up a good fight in Thursday night's Championship clash at the John Smith's Stadium, which finished 1-1.
Despite an impressive start from the Terriers, Ryan Mendes opened the scoring with the visitors' first attempt on goal after 23 minutes.
The hosts put considerable pressure on their opponents in the second half, but were unable to find an equaliser until the 84th minute, when the Welsh 21-year-old fired a shot from distance into the Forest goal.
Huws told BBC Sport: "We started off well but conceded a sloppy goal. Credit to Forest, they made it hard for us to get some chances, but with the late goal, we'll take the point.
"They were defending so well and made it compact and hard for us."
Huddersfield remain 13th in the Championship table following the draw.
