Two sides who experienced vastly different fortunes last weekend will meet on Saturday as Huddersfield Town host Birmingham City at the John Smith's Stadium.
Huddersfield were unable to build on their impressive victory over in-form Brentford, going down 5-0 to Norwich City at Carrow Road last Saturday.
Birmingham also had a five-goal margin in their match, although they were on the right side of it as they bounced back from defeat to former manager Lee Clark and Blackpool with a 6-1 drubbing of Reading.
That proved to be the final straw for Reading boss Nigel Adkins, but Gary Rowett will know that the result flattered his side having had fewer shots and less possession than the Royals.
Even so, the clinical nature of the performance will have delighted the Birmingham boss, who has now guided his side to three wins in their last four games, lifting them seven points clear of the relegation zone.
Teenager Demari Gray has received plenty of plaudits for his first-half hat-trick in the victory, and he is once again expected to start in what could be an unchanged lineup for the visitors.
Chris Powell will be hoping for a similar response from his players this weekend, although the Terriers are in significantly worse form than their opponents.
They have won just one and lost four of their last six matches and, while they remain a relatively comfortable six points clear of the bottom three, that form will need to improve soon if they are to keep their heads above water.
Only Fulham have conceded more goals than Town this season, and there is another blow at the back for them this weekend as Murray Wallace is suspended following his red card against the Canaries.
There are positives when it comes to their home form, however, with Huddersfield unbeaten in seven games in front of their own fans, a run that stretches back to September.
Anthony Gerrard is expected to replace Wallace in defence, while further forward James Vaughan is closing in on a return up front.
