A late Adam Hammill goal was the difference as Huddersfield Town beat Sheffield United at Bramall Lane this evening.
The Blades started the match brightly and caused a few problems for the Terriers backline as they made a couple of blocks early on.
Huddersfield finished the first half the stronger but neither team were unable to break the deadlock as the score remained 0-0 at half time.
With the second half going the same way as the first, it took some great link-up play between new signing Radoslaw Majewski and Hammill to score the game's only goal in the 79th minute.
Majewski began to impress on his debut after pressing forward, but he was unable to convert his chance late on.
The Terriers saw out the remaining 10 minutes and sealed a 1-0 victory away to Sheffield United.
