A brace from Anthony Knockaert has given Leicester City a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town in the Championship.
Andy King was close to giving Leicester an early lead but the midfielder failed to test Alex Smithies with his curling effort from the edge of the area.
Smithies was forced into action midway through the first half when Jamie Vardy found space inside the box but the Huddersfield goalkeeper reacted well to push the ball to safety.
However, Leicester's opening goal gave Smithies no chance to continue his good form as Knockaert unleashed a powerful strike from 35 yards that nestled in the top corner of the net.
Huddersfield were still on the back foot after the break and fell further behind on the hour mark when Knockaert's delicate touch from a Paul Konchesky free kick doubled Leicester's lead.
Despite the visitors keeping control of the game for most of the reamining minutes, Alan Lee could have pulled a goal back for Huddersfield but his shot was well blocked by Kasper Schmeichel.
