Huddersfield Town boss Mark Robins has suggested that Danny Ward could yet be offered a new deal with the Championship club.
The 23-year-old forward, who is out of contract this summer, scored a hat-trick on Saturday to help Town beat Watford 4-1.
Ward's three goals at the weekend took his tally to 10 for the season.
"There is scope to do something and we will have a conversation early next week. He hasn't done his chances any harm," Robins is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
Ward joined Huddersfield from Bolton Wanderers in 2011.
