Hull City manager Steve Bruce has claimed that he does not fear the sack at the KC Stadium, despite the club's poor run of form.
The Tigers are currently 18th in the Premier League table and were beaten 3-0 at home by Newcastle United on Saturday.
The Mirror quotes Bruce as saying: "I don't fear for my job. I've been in this business long enough to know when it's time to roll up your sleeves, and the one thing I'm not going to do is to chuck it in. I've been in difficult spots before.
"No disrespect to Wigan, Hull, Sunderland or Birmingham, but most of them are teams I've brought into the Premier League and it's always a struggle to stay up.
"I've had a great two-and-a-half years here, but we've been badly hit by injuries and against Newcastle we had too many who were flagging and didn't have it in them."
Hull face a trip to champions Manchester City next Saturday.
