Liam Rosenior feels that manager Steve Bruce does not get the praise that he deserves for guiding Hull City to the top half of the Premier League table.
The former Manchester United defender was appointed as Tigers boss last summer and led them back to the top flight as Championship runners-up in his first season in charge.
He has since overseen a promising start to their survival campaign, with Hull currently sitting 10th, and full-back Rosenior has highlighted the integral role that Bruce has played in the club's recent rise.
"What he's done for this club, in just a year pretty much, it's been a massive transformation," he told Sky Sports News.
"He's great tactically, we always know what we're up against and I think he should get a lot more credit than what he gets.
"If we keep performing well, as players you get noticed and as a manager you get noticed."
Hull travel to Southampton in Premier League action on Saturday.
