Hull City manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that he is still keen to add Chicago Fire's Shaun Maloney and Andre Gray of Brentford to his squad before the transfer window closes.
Speaking after his side's penalty-shootout victory over Accrington Stanley in the Capital One Cup, the Tigers boss revealed that talks with both clubs are ongoing.
"We are still in touch with Chicago Fire but all is quiet at the moment," he told reporters. "The Gray deal is still alive but he is their player and it's their prerogative but it's a stalemate."
All four goals were scored in extra time as Hull drew 2-2 with Accrington before edging past them on penalties.
