Hull City manager Steve Bruce has reportedly placed Championship strike duo Jordan Rhodes and Charlie Austin on a shortlist of transfer targets.
The Tigers are preparing for life in the Premier League after securing promotion to the top flight in Bruce's first full season as Hull boss.
Bruce is thought to have prioritsed adding firepower in attack this summer and wants to sign at least one of the Championship's most clinical forwards, according to the Daily Mail.
Rhodes finished as the league's second top scorer with 29 goals for Blackburn Rovers in an impressive campaign, while Austin found the net 25 times for Burnley.
Both players have attracted interest from Premier League clubs in the past, with Rhodes eventually signing for Blackburn last summer in a club-record £8m move.
Hull have also been linked with a move for Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel this week as they look to build a squad capable of making their Premier League return a success.
