Hull City manager Steve Bruce has reportedly identified both Alou Diarra and Stephane Mbia to boost his midfield options.
Diarra, 32, joined West Ham United in 2012, but he has only made three appearances for the Upton Park-based outfit and spent the second half of last season on loan with French side Rennes.
Meanwhile, Mbia is believed to be keen on a move away from Queens Park Rangers, who were relegated to the Championship at the end of the last campaign.
Having allowed both Tom Cairney and Corry Evans to leave the KC Stadium, Bruce is keen to have both players on board before the start of the new season, according to The People.
Hull start life back in the Premier League with a trip to Chelsea on Sunday, August 18.
