Hull City have signed Sunderland goalkeeper Trevor Carson on a month's loan.
Carson, 23, made eight appearances for League One side Bury on another loan deal earlier in the season, and is expected to battle fellow loanee Vito Mannone for a starting place at the KC Stadium.
Hull had been facing a goalkeeping crisis following injuries to both Adriano Basso and Peter Gulacsi, prompting manager Nick Barmby to swoop for the two loan signings.
Carson, who has made 11 appearances for Northern Ireland Under-21s, joined Sunderland in 2004 but has yet to make his full league debut for the Black Cats.
Hull currently sit sixth in the Championship, one point ahead of Blackpool and Leeds.
