Hull City have reportedly failed in their pursuit to land former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato.
The 25-year-old, who is currently on the books of Corinthians, has reportedly been offered to a number of Premier League clubs this winter, including Everton and Queens Park Rangers.
Harry Redknapp recently ruled QPR out of the running, but Hull boss Steve Bruce is believed to have held an interest in the ex-Brazil international.
However, Pato's wage demands of £60,000 a week proved to be the stumbling block to any deal being finalised, according to the Daily Mail.
Bruce is thought to be in the market for a new centre-forward, with Nikica Jelavic and Abel Hernandez both sidelined through injury.
