Inter Milan have secured the services of Porto's Fredy Guarin on a permanent basis following a successful loan spell.
The Nerazzurri splashed out €11m (£8.8m) on the Colombian international after exercising a purchase option in place as part of the loan deal.
Guarin impressed during his time at the an Siro despite playing just six times due to a calf injury.
"The completion of the deal is now dependent upon the player signing a contract with Inter," read a statement on Porto's website.
The 25-year-old midfielder previously sang the praises of his former Porto boss Andre Villas-Boas, revealing that he joined Inter in loan on his advice.
Guarin has earned 36 caps for Colombia, scoring two goals.
