Inter Milan defender Rolando has said that that his side were unlucky not to win their Serie A match against Cagliari this weekend.
The two teams played out a 1-1 draw at the San Siro, with Rolando equalising for Inter after Mauricio Pinilla's penalty had given the visitors a half-time lead.
"My goal was important for the draw, but we were unlucky not to have scored the second. My position on the goal? They were all behind he ball so I tried to take up a good position to score," he told the club's official website.
"This was a game to win today, and a victory would have put us higher in the standings. I'm sorry because we really gave our all.
"We have to stay positive, despite the fact we let two points slip away from us. We did our best. We were just unlucky."
Inter are currently fifth in the Serie A table.
