Former Inter Milan midfielder Dejan Stankovic has backed Roberto Mancini to be a success during his second spell as the club's manager.
Mancini returned to the San Siro on Friday after Walter Mazzarri was sacked following the team's poor start to the season.
The Italian won seven major honours in his first stint as Inter boss and Stankovic is confident that he will turn the club's current fortunes around, with Inter currently languishing in ninth in Serie A.
"He knows the environment, and when you have no time to lose, that is something that makes a big difference," the Serbian is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "Inter and Inter fans, they needed this: to find a good feeling with their coach."
Mancini will start his second spell in charge of Inter against local rivals AC Milan in Serie A next Sunday.
