Inter Milan have recorded back-to-back wins in Serie A courtesy of a 4-1 victory over 10-man Atalanta BC this afternoon.
The visitors were awarded an early penalty after Fredy Guarin was tripped inside the box by Gianpaolo Bellini.
Xherdan Shaqiri took the spot kick and, although Marco Sportiello got a hand to the ball, his effort squirmed into the bottom corner.
Mauricio Pinilla had a golden chance to equalise for Atalanta when he was found at the back post by Maximiliano Moralez, but he somehow turned the ball over the bar from just a couple of yards out.
Atalanta did manage to draw level in the 27th minute as Moralez latched onto Pinilla's knockdown before taking a touch and firing a half-volley into the far corner.
It took the visitors only 11 minutes to restore their lead as Guarin collected the ball on the edge of the box before curling a low strike past Sportiello.
Within seven minutes of the second half, Yohan Benalouane was sent off for Atalanta for picking up two quick yellow cards.
Guarin soon made Inter's numerical advantage count when he curled a strike into the top corner to give his side a two-goal cushion.
The visitors further extended their advantage through Rodrigo Palacio, who was slipped through by Guarin before clipping an effort over Sportiello.
Inter were able to see out the rest of the match with relative ease as they moved back into the top half of the Serie A table.
