The agent of Cristian Chivu plays down suggestions that the defender will leave the club this summer.

The agent of Cristian Chivu has rubbished claims that the defender will leave the club this summer.

It has recently been suggested that the 32-year-old Romanian is on his way out of the San Siro and could move to Turkey.

"They are only rumours," Victor Becali is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "The only time I heard proposals from Turkey it has been last season.

"Chivu wants to respect until the end his deal with Inter and ending his career with the Nerazzurri."

Chivu has one year left on his current contract with Inter.
