Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has insisted that Mauro Icardi will not leave San Siro this summer.
The 23-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with Arsenal and Napoli both believed to be interested in the centre-forward.
However, Thohir has claimed that the Italian giants are not prepared to sell their captain, who scored 16 goals in 30 appearances during the 2015-16 campaign.
"We're not going to sell Icardi. We've received offers – from Napoli too – but we're not going to sell him. We extended his contract a year ago," Thohir told Inter Channel.
"We're like a family and we can always talk if there are problems or discuss what we'd like to achieve together in future. He's our captain and an important player for us. We're very happy with him."
Icardi's agent Wanda Nara - also his wife - said earlier this month that the striker was "happy in Milan".
