Diego Laxalt has revealed that he is exited at the prospect of joining Inter Milan in the summer.
The 20-year-old winger, who will leave Uruguayan club Defensor Sporting to move to the Italian outfit, says that it has always been his "dream" to play for the Nerazzurri.
"Playing in Europe has been my objective since I was a child and wearing the Inter shirt was my dream," he told Calciomercato.com.
"I watched them on TV and I really liked the way the Nerazzurri played. That's how I became an Inter fan. I used to select Inter on the PlayStation and I still do.
"When I heard of their interest, I briefly consulted my agent and family, but I had no doubts. Lazio wanted me too, but Inter are Inter."
Laxalt has already acquired Italian citizenship.
