Genoa have reportedly made an approach to sign Inter Milan full-back Yuto Nagatomo.
Inter have invested around £40m to sign the likes of Miranda and Geoffrey Kondogbia this summer, but it is believed that they now need to recoup some of that outlay.
That has alerted Genoa, who have identified Japan international Nagatomo as the ideal player to ease their defensive concerns, according to Corriere dello Sport.
However, the report adds that the 28-year-old would take some convincing to move to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, with the English Premier League his preferred destination.
Nagatomo has recently been linked with West Bromwich Albion and Galatasaray.
