Reports in Brazil claim that striker Leandro Damiao is in talks over a move to Premier League club Southampton.
The Internacional forward has previously been the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur, who have lodged multiple bids for the player in the past.
The player's agent Jorge Machado revealed that the 23-year-old is in talks with an unnamed club, which the Brazilian media claims to be the Saints.
"There is a club interested [in Leandro]," Machado told UOL.
"We have been talking with Internacional for many days, but we have to wait.
"Inter have set a value, which is very significant, so we need to have more talks."
Damiao has 16 caps for Brazil.
