Alloa Athletic boss Paul Hartley is reportedly in talks with Inverness Caledonian Thistle regarding the vacant managerial position at the Scottish Premiership club.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle have reportedly approached Alloa Athletic manager Paul Hartley about becoming their new boss.

The Scottish Premiership outfit have been without a manager since Terry Butcher departed for Hibernian, and chairman Kenny Cameron is keen to make an appointment before the weekend.

According to the Evening Times, the 37-year-old, who has won back-to-back promotions with Alloa, has been given permission by his club to talk with Inverness.

However, the former Scotland international is not the only man to be linked with the job, with Craig Levein and Chris Sutton also believed to be in contention.
