Mick McCarthy has insisted that his Ipswich Town side did enough to win their East Anglian derby against fellow Championship strugglers Peterborough United earlier today.
As it was, Ipswich were forced to settle for a 0-0 draw at London Road, which has left them four points above the drop zone.
"We had the better chances and the better of the play. I'm happy with the performance and just disappointed with the result because we did enough to have won the game," McCarthy told the club's official website.
"Their keeper made two fabulous saves and we didn't make the most of the situations we created but it's another point. It keeps Peterborough below us in the league."
Next up for Ipswich is a home match against Bolton Wanderers a week today.
