Freddie Sears has praised the Ipswich Town fans that made the trip to Fulham's Craven Cottage this evening.
Those that travelled to West London saw Sears open the scoring after less than 20 seconds, while he later assisted Brett Pitman's goal that secured a 2-1 win for the visitors.
"It's a cold Tuesday night and I'm not sure how many were here, but you could just see at the end what it means to us," he told the club's official website.
"It was right for us to go and show our appreciation for them. They were brilliant tonight, even from minute one."
Next up for the Tractor Boys is a home clash against third-placed Derby County on Saturday afternoon.
