Ipswich Town have beaten Yeovil Town 2-1 at Portman Road to record back-to-back home wins in the Championship.
The home side started strongly and put the away side under pressure immediately after the kickoff.
Daryl Murphy fired wide when well placed and Ryan Tunnicliffe forced Wayne Hennessey into a save with a curling shot.
The Tractor Boys were applying all the pressure early on, with David McGoldrick seeing plenty of the ball.
First the striker had his shot saved and then placed the ball wide of the post.
However, Yeovil then took the lead against the run of play when Joel Grant smacked the ball home from the edge of the area.
Gary Johnson's men almost made it 2-0 but Andrew Williams hit the side-netting.
Ipswich took advantage of Williams's miss just four minutes later as Murphy scrambled the ball over the line after Cole Skuse had nodded across the face of goal.
The home side then almost made it 2-1 but McGoldrick couldn't keep his shot down.
However, the home fans didn't have long to wait and were soon celebrating. McGoldrick laid the ball to Aaron Cresswell and the left-back curled the ball into the top corner.
It was nearly 3-1 but first Tommy Smith headed wide and then Hennessey saved from Luke Hyam and Skuse.
Yeovil had one last chance but Dean Gerken denied Joe Ralls.
