Jimmy Bullard has Ipswich Town contract cancelled

Jimmy Bullard has the last 10 months of his Ipswich Town contract cancelled by mutual consent, according to reports.

Ipswich Town midfielder Jimmy Bullard has had the final 10 months of his contract at Portman Road cancelled by mutual consent.

The 33-year-old did not feature in manager Paul Jewell's plans for this season and failed to feature in the club's last three pre-season friendlies.

Ipswich have come to an agreement with the playmaker to terminate his £15,000-a-week contract, according to the Daily Star.

Bullard will now be available on a free transfer as he aims to find first-team football for the 2012-13 campaign.
