Ipswich Town's reported pursuit of Leicester City midfielder Anthony Knockaert has supposedly fallen through.
Earlier this week it was suggested that the 23-year-old had agreed to join Mick McCarthy's men on loan until the end of the season.
However, having spent the weekend back in his native France, Knockaert has now opted against making a switch to Portman Road, according to the East Anglian Daily Times.
The report adds that a number of foreign clubs have recently made approaches to sign the former French Under-21 international on a pre-contract arrangement.
Knockaert has made nine appearances for the Foxes this season, six of which have come as a substitute.
