Edin Dzeko scored twice as Bosnia-Herzegovina defeated Israel 3-1 in Euro 2016 qualifying on Friday evening.
Bosnia had a number of chances to score in the first half, with Miralem Pjanic and Haris Medunjanin looking particularly lively in attack.
It was not until the 40th minute that the deadlock was broken though, when Tal Ben Haim found the bottom right corner of the net against the run of play.
Bosnia replied just one minute later when Edin Visca found the net from a tight angle.
Edin Dzeko gave Bosnia the lead before half time, converting a penalty after Sheran Yeini had handled the ball inside the area.
Israel pushed for a equaliser in the second half and former Chelsea striker Ben Sahar saw shots saved in the 51st and 57th minutes.
Bosnia were not committing any men forward but Ben Haim, Eran Zahavi and Maor Buzaglo failed to capitalise on their chances.
They were made to pay in the 75th minute when a Dzeko header found the top right corner to give Bosnia a two-goal cushion.
