Former Italy international Francesco Totti believes that England will provide his nation with a "difficult" challenge this evening.
The two teams will meet in Kiev for the right to take on Germany in the semi-finals on Thursday night.
Despite admitting that the Three Lions will be a tough obstacle to beat, the Roma striker has insisted that the Azzurri can advance through.
"Italy has had a good Euros up until now," Totti told Sky Sport Italia. "It was important to get through the first round.
"But the knockout phase begins now and the match against England will be difficult, but Italy can do well."
The 35-year-old won 58 caps for his country.
