Norway have joined Italy in the semi-finals of the Under-21 European Championship after the two sides drew 1-1 in Tel Aviv.
The Italians had already secured their progress from Group A, but the Norwegians reached the last four of the competition by earning a point on Tuesday evening.
Italy were on top during the first half, but Nicola Sansone, Marco Capuano and Mattia Destro were all denied by goalkeeper Arild Ostbo.
Destro should have given his side the lead on the hour, only to fire off target after being forced wide by Ostbo.
Norway nearly nicked a goal in the 70th minute when Vegar Hedenstad's powerful free kick from 30 yards was tipped onto the crossbar by Francesco Bardi.
The Norwegians bagged what looked to be a winner from the penalty spot in the 91st minute through Stefan Strandberg after he was fouled by Luca Caldirola.
However, Italy struck with almost the final kick of the game as Andrea Bertolacci turned in the area before hooking his shot into the net.
