Italy and Norway have played out a goalless first half in their Under-21 European Championship encounter in Israel.
The Italians have already guaranteed their progress from Group B, while the Norwegians are all but through to the semi-finals.
Nicola Sansone had a couple of efforts for the Azzurri in the opening 30 minutes, but his first shot was saved before he flashed a second drive wide from 20 yards.
Italy nearly made the breakthrough towards the end of the half as Fausto Rossi had his shot deflected over, while Norway goalkeeper Arild Ostbo was called into action moments later when he tipped away Marco Capuano's looping header.
The best opportunity of the half came in the final minute as Mattia Destro's low strike was kept out by Ostbo following a swift counter-attack.
