Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has revealed that he was pleased with his side's 'winning mentality' after they defeated Armenia 3-1 in Friday's World Cup qualifier.
It took second-half goals from Daniele De Rossi and Pablo Daniel Osvaldo to help the Azzurri see off their dogged opponents in Yerevan.
"These are hard matches but the team showed personality and desire to play, we risked a bit but that's normal," Prandelli told RAI.
"The team played from the first minute to the last with the mentality to win the game."
Group B leaders Italy next host fifth-placed Denmark in Milan on Tuesday.
