Juventus striker Nicklas Bendtner could be out of action for up to three months with a leg injury.
The 24-year-old, who is currently on a season-long loan from Arsenal, was forced off during Juve's 1-0 win over Cagliari in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday.
"Nicklas Bendtner has undergone an MRI scan and ultrasound that have revealed a lesion on his left adductor tendon," read a statement on the club's official website.
"The prognosis will become clearer after further examinations which the Danish striker will undergo in the coming days."
Bendtner has failed to score in nine appearances for the Serie A champions this season.
