Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo has insisted that he still wants to play for Italy, despite suggestions that his international career might be over.
The 35-year-old claimed in June that he was considering his future with the national team after playing a key role for the Azzurri since 2002.
However, the veteran playmaker has stressed that he is still available for his country.
"I have spoken with (manager) Antonio Conte and I've told him that I'm available for Italy," Pirlo is quoted as saying by Goal.com.
Pirlo has made 112 appearances for Italy, scoring 13 goals in the process.
