Juventus have officially confirmed that Carlos Tevez has left to club to rejoin Argentine side Boca Juniors.
The striker, who joined the Serie A champions from Manchester City two years ago, has been linked with a return to the club for some time, with the team's Twitter feed announcing a deal with Tevez last month.
In a statement posted on the Turin side's website this afternoon, Juventus said: "Following two magnificent seasons in the black and white stripes, Carlos Tevez has officially departed Juventus to return to his homeland for a second stint with Boca Juniors.
"Now Carlitos returns home, to wear the Boca Juniors shirt again. He'll be sending other football fans into raptures next season.
"Because it's the effort that Tevez puts into every match that's made him a firm favourite with fans in Argentina, Brazil, England and Italy. Muchas gracias, Carlitos. Good luck in your new adventure."
The 31-year-old started his senior career with Boca Juniors in 2001 before moving to Brazilian side Corinthians three years later.
