Juventus have reportedly launched a £58.3m bid for Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt as the Italian champions look to secure a deal for the Netherlands international.
The Old Lady have allegedly already agreed personal terms with De Ligt and agent Mino Raiola, with the Serie A giants emerging as the favourites to sign the 19-year-old.
Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with an interest in De Ligt, but the centre-back is said to have chosen a switch to Turin.
According to Sky in Italy, Juve have now launched an offer worth £58.3m, which would see Ajax receive an initial £49.3m up front with a further £9m in add-ons.
However, it has recently been reported that the Dutch giants want a fee of £67m for a player who scored seven times in 55 appearances for Erik ten Hag's side last term.
Juve, meanwhile, are said to have ramped up their efforts to re-sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United.
