Juventus have been rebuffed by Schalke 04 in their attempts to sign Julian Draxler.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Turin this summer and previous reports have suggested that personal terms have been agreed with the player.
However, the German club have since confirmed that they have rejected an approach from the Italian champions, as the offer has not met their valuation of the 21-year-old.
"We have checked the offer, which was out of the question for us," Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt told SID.
Draxler made just 10 appearances for Schalke last season, after being ruled out for five months with a thigh injury.
