Los Angeles Galaxy are reportedly keen to sign Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo during the January transfer window.
The Italy international, who has spent his entire career in his homeland, recently signed a new contract at the Juventus Stadium.
However, the 35-year-old has previously admitted that before he retires, he would like to sample life in the MLS, which has alerted LA Galaxy, according to the Daily Mail.
When asked about Pirlo by ESPN, Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena responded: "We are interested in players of his calibre."
It is believed that Galaxy view Pirlo as a replacement for Landon Donovan, who has announced that he will hang up his boots at the end of the year.
