Juventus playmaker Andrea Pirlo has said that he will sign a new contract with the Italian club in the coming days.
The 34 year-old's contract expires in the summer and reports had suggested that the former AC Milan midfielder could be on his way out of Turin.
However, the veteran has moved to quash those rumours and has suggested that he will sign a new two-year extension with the Seria A champions.
"More or less we have reached an agreement," Pirlo told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I hope the announcement will be made in the coming days."
The Italian international, who joined Juve from AC Milan in 2011, has been included in Italy's World Cup squad.
