Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd has expressed hope that he will become the leading goalscorer in Scottish Premiership history when his side face Dundee United at Rugby Park on Saturday.
The Scotland international equalled former Celtic striker Henrik Larsson's record of 174 league goals when he scored in Kilmarnock's victory over Ross County last weekend.
Boyd has admitted that he is excited at the prospect of surpassing Larsson's total.
"I'm not going to sit here and say 'Kris Boyd's as good as Henrik Larsson' because I know I'm nowhere near that," Boyd told Sky Sports News.
"The things that he's achieved in the game and the things he went on to do after Celtic and even during Celtic and even before that even at international level, to have scored the same amount of goals in the league, I'm delighted about that but I'm hungry, I want more."
Boyd has also played for Rangers in the Scottish top flight.
