Los Angeles Galaxy striker Robbie Keane has revealed that he will not leave the Major League Soccer outfit for a January loan spell in England.
The 33-year-old, who spent a period with Aston Villa last season, had been expected to complete another short-term deal to the Premier League in the winter window.
However, he told the Evening Herald: "I am going to rest up and get ready for next season with the Galaxy. I haven't even thought about taking up with any other teams, I have a few little niggles that I have to sort out before I even contemplate making any decisions.
"There has been a lot of speculation and a few clubs are interested but it wouldn't be right for me to go anywhere if I wasn't 100% fit and ready. I don't have any major problems, just an Achilles injury, but if that isn't right, I won't be going anywhere."
Keane has scored 22 goals in 34 games for LA Galaxy since joining in 2012.
