Harry Redknapp has admitted that he is interested in bringing Robbie Keane to Loftus Road on loan in January.
Keane proved a big hit in a six-week spell with Aston Villa last season, scoring three goals in five league starts.
Redknapp has previously worked with Keane at Tottenham Hotspur and believes that the Republic of Ireland poacher would be a quality addition to the Hoops' strikeforce.
He told reporters: "Robbie's a good shout. He probably would be an interesting player.
"I haven't spoken to him yet, but he would be an interesting player.
"He's a good pro and he would be the ideal type to have around for sure because he would give us something. He had a good season, scored goals and did well."
The 32-year-old helped Los Angeles Galaxy retain the MLS Cup this season with a series of impressive displays.
