Las Palmas boss Paco Herrera has lavished praise on his team following Sunday's 3-3 draw at high-flying Celta Vigo.
The newly-promoted side had their goalkeeper Javi Varas sent off in the 11th minute of the La Liga clash and trailed 3-1 early in the second period.
Herrera's side scored twice in the final 30 minutes to secure a share of the spoils, however, in a response that delighted their manager.
"Everything looked very ugly and difficult at one stage, but the team gave more than I thought they could give. They gave 120%. We must use this match as a reference point to prove that we're capable of doing great things," Herrera told reporters.
"What I liked is how the team didn't shrink [in the face of adversity]. We were able to stand up to a big team like Celta with 10 man and gave them an even bigger scare in the final few minutes."
Las Palmas have drawn two and lost one of their three La Liga matches thus far this term.
