Lazio are on the verge of signing Felipe Anderson from Santos after the Italian club's president Claudio Lotito confirmed that he is undergoing a medical there.
The Serie A side have been chasing the 20-year-old since January, but red tape has prevented a deal from being completed on more than one occasion.
However, Lotito insists that Anderson will become a Lazio player once he passes his medical.
"I believe he will join Lazio, but we must now wait on him to pass his medical examinations," he told reporters.
Anderson has represented Brazil at both Under-17 and Under-20 levels.
