Felipe Anderson is reportedly in talks over a return to Lazio from West Ham United, who are holding out for a fee of €10m (£8.5m) for the Brazilian winger.

West Ham United winger Felipe Anderson is reportedly in talks with Lazio over a permanent return to the Serie A club.

The 28-year-old starred for West Ham in the 2018-19 Premier League season, but he failed to replicate that form a year later and was ultimately shipped out on loan to Porto for the 2020-21 campaign.

Anderson was nothing more than a bit-part player in Portugal - making a mere 10 appearances under Sergio Conceicao - and he was recently pictured reporting for pre-season training at West Ham's training ground.

However, journalist Nicolo Schira reports that negotiations are underway for a permanent return to Lazio, whom he represented for five years between 2013 and 2018 before sealing a switch to West Ham.

Schira adds that personal terms will not be a problem and Anderson is set to pen a four-year deal with the Biancocelesti, but West Ham are holding out for an fee of €10m (£8.5m) after Lazio initially offered €7m (£6m).

Anderson scored 34 goals and assisted 39 more during 177 appearances in his first spell at Lazio, while he boasts 12 goals and 13 assists in 73 games in West Ham colours. body check tags ::
