Millwall will search their own fans for Turkish flags before Saturday's Championship match against Leeds United.
Two Leeds fans were stabbed to death in Istanbul in 2000 before a UEFA Cup tie against Galatasaray.
Millwall officials want to avoid a repeat of last season's match at the New Den which saw four fans banned for antagonistically waving Turkish flags at Leeds supporters, according to the Daily Mail.
Leeds won the reverse fixture 2-0 at Elland Road in December.
