Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion and Burnley are all reportedly interested in singing Leeds United's Crysencio Summerville during the summer transfer window.

Since the Whites' relegation from the Premier League in May, the 22-year-old has been a key figure for his side as they attempt to escape the Championship at the first attempt.

Summerville has featured in 35 second-tier matches for Daniel Farke's side, scoring 16 goals and providing eight assists so far during a productive campaign.

Following a lengthy unbeaten run in the Championship during the new calendar year, the Yorkshire club are second in the second-tier standings, ahead of third-placed Leicester City on goal difference.

According to Football Insider, Summerville is attracting the interest of several Premier League outfits ahead of the upcoming summer trading point.

The report claims that Unai Emery's Aston Villa are keen on securing the services of the Dutchman, with the Villans currently chasing down Champions League football.

On top of the Midlands outfit, it is believed that Roberto de Zerbi's Brighton are also in the race to recruit Summerville before the 2024-25 term.

With the Villans and the Seagulls playing in the Europa Conference League and Europa League this season, it is understood that they both wish to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new campaign.

Following their promotion to the Premier League in 2023, Burnley made a serious push for the signature of Summerville during the off-season.

It was widely reported that Vincent Kompany's side submitted an offer of £20m for the former Feyenoord attacker, who is at the top of Leeds' goalscoring charts this season.

A move to Turf Moor did not materialise, though, with Farke's side swiftly rejecting the advances of the top-flight newcomers last summer.

It remains to be seen whether Burnley pursue a move for Summerville once again this summer, with a potential capture largely dependent on their divisional status.

Kompany's charges are currently occupying 19th position in the Premier League standings, five points adrift of Luton Town in the relative safety of 17th.

Following Good Friday's trip to Watford, Summerville and Leeds will continue their hunt for automatic promotion as they welcome Hull City to Elland Road on Easter Monday. body check tags ::
