Leeds United manager David Hockaday has refused to be drawn on speculation linking the Whites with Rotherham United forward Kieran Agard.
The former Arsenal youth player is thought to be on the Leeds wanted list as they continue to reshape their squad under the new ownership of Massimo Cellino.
"If somebody signs on the dotted line I'll talk chapter and verse on that player," Hockaday told reporters when asked about a move for Agard.
"Until that time it's wrong of me to comment on anything because then you'll ask about another player and another player and we could be here all day, so I'll pass on that one."
Agard, 24, started life in the youth ranks at Arsenal, then had spells at Everton and Yeovil Town before joining Rotherham.
