Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Andy Keogh has joined Leeds United on loan until January.
The Republic or Ireland international began his career at Elland Road but only made one senior appearance before moving to Scunthorpe.
The 25-year-old has revealed that a return to his first club has provided him with the opportunity to finally make a name for himself in a white shirt.
"I can't believe it has come up. I need games as well so it's perfect. This is where it started, it's great to be back," he told the club's official website.
"I was disappointed I never got a fair chance here. I thought I was sold too quickly. I understand what it was like back then, but it's good to be back and to have a chance to play in the first team properly.
"Every player wants to prove something and I'm no different. I feel I was let go too early and didn't get the chance to show the fans what I can do."
Keogh spent the majority of last season on loan at Cardiff City.
