Al Sadd forward Baghdad Bounedjah has allegedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Leeds United.

While the Yorkshire giants currently sit in fifth position in the Championship standings, just 15 goals have been scored in their 11 fixtures since the start of the season.

There is also uncertainty regarding the future of Arsenal loanee Eddie Nketiah, leaving Marcelo Bielsa to consider potential replacements for the England Under-21 international.

According to Le Buteur, Leeds are contemplating whether to make a bid for Algeria international Bounedjah, who netted the winning goal in the Africa Cup of Nations final in July.

The 27-year-old has scored more than a goal per game at his current club since 2015, increasing the likelihood of a future move to a European club.

However, Bounedjah has a deal in place at Al Sadd until 2024.
